Areas of need: Education and Health. Teachers, Universtiy students,
MDs, DDs, RNs are welcome to stay one or more weeks in Yantalo.
Description: The Yantalo Foundation welcomes the participation of adult volunteers who wish to teach Art, music, theatre, English or Math to children from 5 to 16 and to adults eager to learn how to read and write. The people in Yantalo need professionals in the medical and dental areas. The Foundation also welcomes donations for Education and Health and for the construction of the Yantalo International Clinic.
Volunteers may qualify to deduct their travel expenses to and in Yantalo. Please consult with your tax advisor. You may want to volunteer your time for 5 working days or more. Spanish language teachers and students may wish to participate a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks in order to improve Spanish while teaching English. A win win situation!
